Charity Auction

This year, we have a impressive assortment of pop culture collectibles for our charity auction. The auction will be held Saturday 11:30am to 12:30pm in the film room. 100% of the auction proceeds will be going towards charity. From costume cards to film cels, have a look at the items we will be auctioning!

Celebrity Charity Dinner & Breakfast

Dine with the celebrities and support the charity of choice for the Fall 2007 Expo, the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation which supports more than 5,000 children each month who are diagnosed with cancer. In 2005 and 2006, we raised over $8,000.00 for the Treasure Chest and are very proud of all our patrons for making that possible! Please consider joining us for the Celebrity dinner or Breakfast or both so that we can meet our goal and break that record this October!

We at CECE are excited to announce that attendees at the Fall '07 Expo will be able to purchase an October variant issue of Non-Sport Update magazine! This collectors issue will be available at the Expo and features a special illustrated Star Wars cover by artist Cynthia Cummens! The magazine will also include a special promo card featuring the same beautiful illustration honoring the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars. Proceeds from sales of this magazine will go to The Treasure Chest Foundation. Also, those who purchase the brand new Encyclopedia of Non-Sport & Entertainment Trading Cards at the show will get one of the Star Wars variants free. NSU will donate one dollar from each copy sold to The Treasure Chest!

NEWS!! Starting Aug. 6th, SWTC Gives Back 2007 is hosting a mini-auction to help fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Items currently in the auction include Star Wars Celebration Medallions, vintage and modern Star Wars cards. More items will be added over the next week.

Whether you bid yourself, or tell a friend about the auctions, you'll be helping a great cause. Winners will make payment directly to the National MS Society and receive a tax receipt, and you'll be getting cool Star Wars stuff. What could be better?

The September 2006 charity was the Sturge-Weber Foundation. The Sturge-Weber Foundation assists the one million individuals and their families affected by a Port Wine Stain, a pink to dark purple birthmark while facilitating research into the cause of rare diseases like Sturge-Weber and Klippel-Trenaunay. Sturge-Weber syndrome is a rare disease consisting of a port wine stain usually around the eye area, glaucoma, and seizures with many individuals having developmental delays. Klippel-Trenaunay affects the limbs and blood flow causing ongoing pain and medical issues. To learn more, please visit www.sturge-weber.com.

We held a Celebrity breakfast and also had an exclusive trading card offer. Federation Toys donated a Luke FX Saber for a special raffle held at the Charity Celebrity Breakfast valued at $120.00.
